KEPCO invests in Simply Blue Energy to accelerate offshore wind development. We are pleased to announce that Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc. (KEPCO) has made an equity investment in Simply Blue Energy OSW Ltd., an offshore wind developer based in Ireland. This marks KEPCO’s first investment in an offshore wind developer. Simply Blue Energy has extensive experience in offshore wind development across Europe, and through this partnership, we aim to enhance our expertise and contribute to advancing offshore wind projects globally. This collaboration represents a significant step toward achieving our Zero Carbon Vision 2050, as we continue to promote the sustainable and stable supply of clean energy worldwide.
