  • Can AI make healthcare more human? That was the conversation at the inaugural Smart Health Asia 2026, where Accenture brought together healthcare leaders, policymakers and innovators to explore the future of health. From AI-powered disease surveillance and cybersecurity to precision medicine and workforce transformation, one message stood out: AI works best when it empowers people. By helping clinicians focus on higher-value care, improving patient outcomes and enabling healthcare systems to scale with confidence and trust, AI is moving beyond experimentation to deliver real-world impact. At Accenture, we're excited to continue partnering with healthcare organisations to shape a more connected, intelligent and human-centred future for health. • Malaysia’s financial institutions have the AI momentum. Now comes the harder part: turning it into scalable value. Malaysia has put AI at the center of its national ambition and financial institutions have a critical role to play in translating that ambition into economic value. Accenture’s latest report looks at where Malaysian financial institutions stand today and what may be holding them back from scaling AI with impact and confidence. The sector’s next advantage will come from institutions that can pair ambition with readiness across strategy, tech and governance. Access the full report for the complete view of Malaysia’s AI opportunity in financial services. https://accntu.re/4wHqPvB [Image Description: A seven-slide Accenture and FIDE Forum carousel on AI adoption in Malaysia’s financial sector. Key findings show high AI adoption but limited scaling, with challenges in strategic focus, talent, data readiness, and governance. • Malaysia's financial institutions are embracing AI, but scaling it remains the next frontier. Together with FIDE FORUM, we are proud to launch, "From Oversight to Advantage: How Boards Can Accelerate AI Adoption in Malaysia's Financial Institutions." Lokesh Sharma shared key insights from the research, highlighting that while AI adoption is underway, only 17% of Malaysian financial institutions have scaled a strategic AI initiative, compared to 50% across APAC. An engaging exchange of perspectives unfolded during the panel discussion featuring Anoop Sagoo, Datuk Kamaruddin Taib and Ethan Seow, moderated by Shazana M. of BFM 89.9 - The Business Station, as they discussed how boards can turn AI ambition into business value. Thank you to FIDE FORUM, our speakers and all participants for contributing to this important conversation. • Organisations that are capturing real growth from AI are the ones treating talent and technology as inseparable, not sequential. Yet our latest report, Singapore’s growth mandate, reveals a telling gap: only 1 in 3 companies have a talent strategy aligned to their AI strategy. The decisive factor is leadership. To unlock AI’s full potential, redesigning job roles and responsibilities needs to be a CEO-level imperative. Read the report to discover why our AI future will be won on people, not technology: https://accntu.re/4vsT80K [Image description: A 5-slide carousel on the AI and workforce landscape in Singapore: a cover slide with the headline "Your AI strategy has a people problem and it's already costing you"; a stat slide stating only 1 in 3 organisations have a talent strategy fully aligned to their AI strategy, and that 46% have not begun redesigning job roles and responsibilities, set against a photo of a woman working at a glowing screen in a dark room; a slide reading "Skills don't change until the work they are attached to does" with a stat of how only 1 in 4 are embedding learning into daily workflows, paired with a photo of two colleagues reviewing a device together; a slide on the confidence-capability gap showing that while 78% of young Singaporeans use AI regularly, more than 80% have little to no understanding of prompt engineering and AI ethics, illustrated with a photo of three colleagues collaborating in an office; and a closing slide inviting readers to "Discover why Singapore's AI future will be won on people, not technology" with a call to read the latest report, set against a photo of two professionals in conversation.]
