Cake Global has been exclusively retained by a high-growth, venture-backed global pioneer in the experiential sports and luxury wellness space to source their founding Chief Executive Officer for Thailand.

Our client is bringing a highly unique, premium indoor sport lifestyle concept to Bangkok. Backed by a strong capital framework and a clear path toward a near-term IPO, they are looking for an entrepreneurial business leader to establish their footprint and drive a market-first concept from the ground up.

Position Summary

As the founding CEO, you will hold absolute P&L authority and operational ownership of the Thailand business. This is a true "0-to-1" launch role designed for a builder, not a corporate custodian. Starting with a blank canvas, you will secure prime real estate, recruit your core executive team, navigate local compliance, and execute an aggressive multi-store rollout strategy across the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Launch & P&L Ownership: Define and execute the end-to-end Thailand market entry strategy while taking full financial accountability.
• 0-to-1 Entity Setup: Build local corporate infrastructure, logistics, warehouse supply chains, and retail operating procedures from scratch.
• Real Estate & Expansion: Identify prime commercial locations and lead high-level retail leasing negotiations with major property developers and landlords.
• Team Building & Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and mentor a high-performing team across corporate headquarters and frontline retail operations.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary liaison to regional and global headquarters, coordinating closely on brand standards, financial reporting, and joint venture requirements.

Candidate Profile

Minimum Qualifications (Must-Haves):

• Residency: Professionals with long-term Thai residency and deep business networks in Bangkok.
• Language Fluency: Professional, business-level fluency in Mandarin and Thai (written and spoken) to seamlessly manage cross-border regional stakeholders.
• Mindset: A proven "founder's mentality." You must have a high appetite for ambiguity, hands-on operational grit, and a passion for building systems and teams from scratch.

Preferred Experience (Strong Plus):

• A stellar commercial track record in experiential sports, premium hospitality, luxury lifestyle, high-end fitness/wellness, or entertainment and education.
• Prior experience managing a startup phase or a major business unit launch.
