  • 𝗪𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗜-𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲? This week, OLIVER | The Brandtech Group carved out time across the business to do exactly that. AI Culture Week brought together teams across The Brandtech Group, from every brand, office and role. That's everyone experimenting with AI. Not just talking about AI, but testing it, questioning it, and pushing their thinking. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗽: • Opening keynote with Will Hanschell on building AI-ready capability • Fireside chat with David Jones on transformation beyond tools • Role-specific workshops tailored to what different teams actually do • Global watch parties with teams tuning in live across time zones • Film clubs, comedy roasts, and moments to connect and build community AI Culture Week wasn’t about rolling out new tools. It was about creating the confidence to collaborate with them. The space to build capability together. The support to do it responsibly. How will you be building an AI-ready culture? #AICulture #InHouseMarketing #AIInside

Nick believes that to work in marketing is a privilege. But working in marketing shouldn't require privilege. That conviction has shaped his career. From founding the Black Marketers Council in 2020, to serving as a Trustee of the Marketing Skills Trust, his work has always been about leaving the industry better than he found it. The DMA said it perfectly: "He's not only shaped and grown our industry through his brilliant strategic thinking, but consistently challenges us to do better." That's what a fellowship looks like. • 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄? Young Lion Madeleine Grogan got the answer on the ground at Cannes, capturing perspectives from senior marketers on what's defining the leaders and brands that win. See what stuck with Madeleine as her Cannes insights unfold over the next few days. A huge thanks to everyone who spoke with Madeleine and participated in the videos below. It's your knowledge shaping the next generation of marketing leaders. #FutureTalent #AIInside #InHouseMarketing

Last week I was lucky enough to join OLIVER | The Brandtech Group in Cannes, an experience I am incredibly grateful for.    I truly don’t even know where to start with the highlights - hearing from industry leading CMOs, seeing award winning campaigns and creative, and learning what’s next in the marketing industry, I left incredibly inspired (and only slightly tired).   I spent the week capturing content and insights across the industry, from leading thinkers to my own peers, to share to our next generation talent.   I focused on 3 key questions: 1. What will define the brands that truly win the in AI age? 2. What “superpower” do the next generation of marketers need to succeed?  3. In a world of faster and cheaper, what defines creative excellence?    See some of the answers below (Mark Ritson fans skip to 3:34!).   It goes without saying (but I’ll say it anyway!), the biggest of thank yous to everyone who was kind and willing enough to speak and share your knowledge. It’s hugely appreciated.    Over the next week, I’ll also be sharing my learnings from each day out in Cannes, so stay tuned to see what really stuck out to me.    Young lion over and out!

At our Marketing Leadership #BISummit, hosted at Rado Plage during Cannes Lions, NetApp's Gabie Boko, ServiceNow's Jim Lesser and Japan Airlines' Mina Kent joined OLIVER | The Brandtech Group's Corey O'Brien for a panel called "No Playbook: What It Takes to Commit to Brand as AI Rewrites the Rules." The premise was blunt: most AI in marketing is still theater, and these three leaders skipped the pilot and went first. Their bold bets ranged from shaping how AI models perceive and recommend a brand, to building AI-native content engines, to airing one of the first fully generative AI Super Bowl spots, each one made at a moment of real exposure. The conversation went past the tools to what it actually takes to commit: the vision, the leadership, the internal battles, the operating-model changes and the nerve to rebuild how marketing gets made. They also got into the human side, how you keep a team brave and motivated through the biggest shift marketing has seen. There was no hype here, just three leaders who went first and an honest look at what it really takes to lead from the front. 📢 We would love to see you at one of our upcoming events, click here to check out the schedule: https://lnkd.in/gQkdFDw

  • 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. And this year confirmed what the best marketers already know: in the age of AI, creativity isn't under threat. 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗹𝗹. At Brandtech Beach, we brought together some of the world's leading marketers around one conviction: creativity is the most powerful multiplier for growth. Technology is how you get there. Talent is how it comes to life. From tools to the people who wield them. From efficiency to craft that actually moves people. From AI as the headline to creativity as the multiplier. From technology alone to talent, training, and transformation from within. The Brandtech Group Founder David Jones carried that conviction across the Croisette. As a partner of the CMO Accelerator, Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity's flagship programme for the world's most senior marketing leaders, and on the Informa CEO panel alongside Dana Strong CBE (Sky), Nick Brien (OUTFRONT Media), and Stephen Carter (Informa), the message was consistent: we're living through the biggest creative revolution in history. The enemy of great creativity isn't AI. It's a lack of curiosity about what it makes possible. That conviction took the stage at Brand Innovators, where our clients Gabie Boko (NetApp), Mina Kent (Japan Airlines), and Jim Lesser (ServiceNow), moderated by our own Corey O'Brien, tackled what it really takes to commit to brand as AI rewrites the rules. No playbook. Just practice. That same thread ran through the WFA In-Housing Summit, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Breakfast, Women Leading AI Lunch, Social Roundtables, One Step Ahead AI sessions, and an evening with Mark Ritson & The Marketing Academy. And in between it all, client dinners, the gelato station, and the World Cup never too far from view. Thank you to our clients, speakers, partners, and the team behind the scenes for making Brandtech Beach the home for these conversations this week. The festival ends here. The momentum does not.

New 1-1 AI Clinics available! Heading to Cannes next week with a long list of AI questions? Let's answer them. We've added two more types of 1-1 clinics, exclusive sessions designed for senior leaders who don't have time to waste and have had enough of the AI hype. - First: a 30-minute ‘State of AI’  briefing. A straight read on where AI in marketing really is in 2026: what's real, what's overblown, and what your competitors are quietly already doing. No big decks. No lengthy setup. No jargon. Just a useful half hour between meetings with an expert who is working with global brands on AI transformation. - Second: a 45-minute Claude deep dive. There’s so much talk about Claude! But have you been able to make the time in your day-to-day job to explore what it can do? One of our Claude experts, Piers Brown (yes, he is a nerd) is in Cannes and able to take marketers through a 1-1 live walkthrough of real marketing tasks. No demo theatre. No silly claims. Just five things you can do today that you couldn't do twelve weeks ago, and the chance to see them in action. Both sessions are 1:1. Both are confidential. Both are designed to keep you one step ahead of your customer, your competition and your future. Alongside these sessions, our 1-to-1 Tech & AI Clinics at Brandtech Beach are almost fully booked but we still have a handful of slots available. Topics include in-house AI studio scaling, AI film production, media activation, creator strategies, e-commerce, data and the new rules of AI search and discovery. Comment below or send us a message to secure your spot! #CannesLions2026 #TechClinic
